Product Designer - XSY

Summary
IOG, an innovative leader in blockchain technology, is seeking a forward-thinking Product Designer to shape the future of our newest product, Lace - a cutting edge light wallet for Web3. This remote position offers the opportunity to craft compelling, user-friendly designs for a cutting-edge platform. The role demands a blend of creativity, strategic thinking,and a passion for user-centered design to improve the management and enjoyment of digital assets, NFTs, DApps, and DeFi services.

Duties

• Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for the Lace platform.
• Continuously refine and iterate on design features to support Lace's expanding suite of Web3 features.
• Translate user needs and business requirements into innovative design solutions that provide a seamless user experience.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and marketing to ensure design coherence and product excellence.
• Conduct thorough user research and usability testing, integrating insights into design iterations.
• Create wireframes, user journeys, and interactive prototypes, effectively communicating your design vision.
• Maintain design consistency and coherence across the product's various touchpoints.

Requirements

Key Competencies 

• Exceptional design skills, with an ability to deliver intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces across a variety of platforms.
• Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Protopie.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills, with proficiency in presenting design ideas and concepts to stakeholders.
• Adaptability and willingness to embrace the challenges of working on emerging technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Education / Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Design, User Experience, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in product design, with a proven track record in creating delightful user experiences.
• Experience working with web and mobile platforms, and a thorough understanding of the technical limitations of each.
• A comprehensive portfolio that showcases a wide range of design projects, highlighting your role and impact on the outcomes.
