Job description

Job Description:

NetImpact Strategies is looking for a Senior OCM Consultant / Specialist to join our talented professional services team. You will use creative, data driven organizational change management expertise and experience to drive changes across business process, IT and human aspects of projects to align and reach its strategic objectives.

 

*Although primarily remote, the individual must live within a 50-mile radius of Scott AFB, IL as you will be required on-site occasionally. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support managing large networking of stakeholders across the JDDE and other impacted, agencies, and organizations (e.g., General Services Administration and commercial transportation partners)
  • Develops relationships with stakeholders and has a working knowledge of the organization's business operations, objectives, and industry context to align change initiatives with strategic goals.
  • Analyzes the impact of proposed changes on various aspects of the organization, including processes, systems, culture, and people. 
  • Identifies and categorizes all stakeholders affected by the change. 
  • Helps to establish mechanisms to collect feedback from stakeholders throughout the change process and analyzes stakeholder feedback to make recommendations to changes to the change management strategy.
  • Coordinates with communications specialist to contribute to ensuring messaging resonates with stakeholder groups.
  • Coordinates with training specialist to develop training objectives to meet needs of OCM.
  • Helps to identify and support key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of the change initiative.
  • Tracks progress and provide regular reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Supports pre and post-implementation surveys and the data collection, analysis, and reporting of results.
  • Reports to the contractor's program manager and/or the Senior OCM Analyst/Consultant. 
  • Stakeholder management to facilitate adoption of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system across multi-year phases
  • Document, update, and use Stakeholder Management tool
  • Coaching (train the trainer) on OCM and other subjects necessary for adoption of the ERP
  • Support OCM process and oversee development of OCM plans and other project deliverables: roadmap, communications plan, training plan, strategy, etc.
Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in learning, communications, organization behavior, organization development or similar fields
  • 7+ years working experience in a related environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey the purpose and benefits of change, as well as to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Has understanding of and experience with OCM theories and models such as Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter's 8-step Model or Lewin's Change Management Model and experience developing and conducting OCM assessments and plans.
  • Understands human behavior, motivation, and group dynamics in the context of change.
  • Understands stakeholders needs, concerns, and influence within their organization.
