Credentialing Specialist - Maritime Industry (ZR_17964_JOB)

This is a remote position.

• Contract type: Independent Contractor
  
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Eastern with an hour unpaid break
  
• Review and process multiple types of maritime licensing applications
  
• Work within established guidelines to ensure compliance with maritime regulations
  
• Potential to expand into customer service roles in the future
  
• Communicate findings clearly and concisely through written notes
  

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed reviews of maritime licensing applications
  
• Perform quality assurance checks on application packets (15-20 pages)
  
• Make detailed notes on incomplete or incorrectly filled sections
  
• Navigate different types of applications and their specific requirements
  
• Collaborate with the US-based team for final confirmation before Coast Guard submission
  
• Adhere to established processes and checklists for various application types
  

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data review
  
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
  
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and checklists
  
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  
• Comfortable working with digital documents and data entry systems
  
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive personal information
  
• Adaptable to learning new processes and regulations
