Unicorn Role Overview: Are you a social media guru, skilled at crafting captivating campaigns and shaping brand identities? We're seeking a Social Media Manager to join our client's team! Ideal candidates will have experience managing social media platforms, executing marketing campaigns, and creating compelling content. In this role, you'll work independently to develop strategies, engage target audiences, and ensure brand consistency across channels. You'll also collaborate with internal teams and contribute ideas towards future content creation, analyze and share metrics, and stay up to date on emerging trends. What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to drive brand awareness, audience growth, and customer engagement.
  • Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including written posts, images, videos, and infographics.
  • Encourage meaningful interactions with our audience, encouraging engagement, and building relationships.
  • Implement strategies to grow our social media following and increase reach and engagement metrics.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics and performance indicators.
  • Manage and oversee the content calendar, creating systems where necessary.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for social media advertising and paid promotions.

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in a virtual or remote setting.
  • Proficient in managing social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a creative flair.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast- paced environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Graphic design or basic video editing skills (preferred but not required).
