Project Engineer for network connections

Our client, a leading global IT consulting company, is recruiting for a Project Engineer for network connections to join their business in Germany.

Job Description

• Processing and submitting grid connection applications to energy suppliers
  

• Document management for network purchase applications and distribution network operator offers
  

• Offer review, offer inquiries and escalation management with energy suppliers and other process participants
  

• Participation in various mast site new construction projects to implement grid connections together with energy suppliers
  

• Preparation of recommendations based on the data obtained from the audits to improve electricity efficiency
  

• Analyzing and reviewing site and energy audit reports received from on-site teams
  

Job Requirements

• Completed vocational training in a commercial or technical profession, preferably with a background in electrical engineering or lightning protection technology
  

• At least 2 years of professional experience 
  

• Interested in gaining a good understanding of the effects of energy consumption and energy performance of a cell site
  

• Good knowledge of auditing is desirable but not required
  

• Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  

• Fluent German and good English skills (spoken and written) required
