IE Construction Manager

RER Solutions, Inc., is accepting resumes for an IE Construction Manager to support the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED)’s mission to deliver clean energy demonstration projects at scale in partnership with the private sector to accelerate deployment, market adoption, and the equitable transition to a decarbonized energy system to join our superior workforce.   

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee construction planning, scheduling, and project execution
• Oversee and review engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) contractor and subcontractors in support of energy generation or process facilities
• Assess effectiveness and execution of contractor performance in executing EPC responsibilities, sub-contractor performance
• Analyze the effectiveness and maintenance cost schedule and control systems
• Analyze and verify the progress of construction organization including analysis of contractor earned value management systems, and effectiveness of change control procedures and configuration management

• Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client-issued Public Trust
• 8+ years of experience in construction management of large energy or infrastructure facilities, with regards to relevant scale, precision, and supply chain complexity
• Experience in Clean Energy desired  
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail, and an understanding of fundamental business writing
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree
