Your missions

A Multi-Family Investment Real Estate Management Company is seeking a Remote Senior Tax Strategist to work within the finance division assisting real estate clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience. CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required. The position is Remote and the office location is in Anaheim Hills, CA. So, preference will be given to applicants residing in Southern CA or the greater Phoenix area.


Essential Functions

  • Participate in client engagements by providing corporate, partnership and individual tax services
  • Devise, plan and execute tax strategies and research potential tax issues
  • Prepare and/or review returns for corporate, partnership, estates, trusts or individuals, including federal, foreign, state and local tax returns, estimated payments and extensions.
  • Build relationships with existing clients
  • Perform tax research
  • Resolve tax notices from IRS or other tax authorities

Requirements

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field; Master of Tax desirable
  • CPA candidate or CPA License preferred; but not required. If not a CPA, must meet educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam
  • Tax experience: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Public accounting: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Real estate tax and accounting experience preferred.

  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • Ability to effectively operate office equipment and a variety of computer programs
  • Able to work effectively with staff members, clients, and vendors
