Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Android Developer. The Android Developer will develop, design, and maintain Android applications. Responsibilities also include collaborating with cross-functional teams in defining, designing, and shipping new features while ensuring high code quality and maintainability.

Writing clean and efficient codes for Android applications.

Monitoring the performance of live apps and work on optimizing them at the code level.

Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs, and enhancing application performance.

Technical Skills Required:

Trained in Android SDK tools/Android Studio, third party libraries and APIs

Knowledge with Android Kotlin and Java

Knowledge using SQLite in Android, UX/UI designs

Qualifications

Mobile Application Development and Android Development skills
Mobile Applications and Android Design experience
Software Development experience
Experience in integration of mobile applications with web services and APIs
Experience with software development methodologies, Agile/Scrum/Kanban, and tools such as Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, and/or similar tools
Experience with Android frameworks (such as Retrofit, RxJava, Dagger, etc.) and libraries (such as Glide, Picasso, etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience with other mobile platforms such as iOS is a plus
