About The Role:
Dotdash Meredith is looking for a remote Social Content Producer for Allrecipes. As a social content producer, you will join our Quality Team, a team of remote editors, producers, and fact checkers who work on our sizable library of existing articles to improve the reader experience, drive additional traffic, and ensure the accuracy of all of our content. Social content producers may schedule, post, draft and/or edit copy for Allrecipes social media, as well as handle some channel engagement.
We are looking for social content producers who can commit to 15-20 hours of work per week. Due to the nature of the role, which involves posting content to social media at specified peak times, we are looking for candidates with availability between the hours of 4PM-8PM Eastern Time. Weekend availability is a plus. The rate for this role is $20-$25/hour. Applicants must live in the United States or Canada.
About Your Contributions:
In this role, you will:
Draft and/or lightly edit engaging copy to be posted across social channels
Upload videos to Allrecipes social media channels via scheduling software
Post videos to social channels via native tools during peak engagement periods
Handle light engagement (replies to comments, etc) in Allrecipes social media channels
About You:
At least 1 year of experience in the social media space, preferably with some engagement experience
Extensive knowledge of cooking, recipes, and different kinds of cuisines
Strong writing and editing skills
Knowledge of and experience in implementing SEO best practices
You’re able to easily adopt an established brand voice, and you adhere to strict brand and style guidelines like a pro
Comfortable with content management systems, including Dash Hudson
Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently, independently, and accurately
You are comfortable working remotely
You have access to a smartphone, computer (not a tablet), and a secure internet connection
