Trailmix is an award-winning studio based in the heart of London, backed by mobile giants Supercell. We are actively growing the talented team behind our debut game, Love & Pies, which is set to be the next free-to-play mobile hit. About the role:

This role will report directly to our CTO and will work with a team of highly collaborative developers and other disciplines to build mobile, free-to-play casual games.

Our team tries out a lot of things before settling on what we think works, and we throw away far more than we keep. For gameplay features, what feels right is more important than what’s written in a task and we expect you to own the quality of the output.

The Senior Game Developer is at the heart of what makes a great game and what speaks to our players.

Responsibilities and scope:

• Owning the implementation of a wide range of features from gameplay and meta, to live-ops and F2P best practices
• Working closely with other disciplines to ensure a high quality delivery of content and features in the game
• Helping the people around you be the best versions of themselves, from brainstorming with fellow devs, to building tools to make the whole team more productive

Requirements:

• Expert in writing code for games in Unity with C#
• You have high professional standards with good attention to quality and detail
• You’re proactive and always keen to learn and improve your skills
• You will have worked on more than one commercially successful mobile games
• Ability to work very closely with other disciplines to iterate on gameplay and features

Some nice bonus skills that could differentiate you:

• Experience in animation, 3D modelling and 2D art pipelines
• Experience writing shaders for mobile platforms
• Familiarity with build pipelines, automation and testing frameworks
• Backend development for mobile games, either custom or with BaaS platforms
• A love for the mobile casual games market

Location:

Trailmix is currently operating under a hybrid work model - we have 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday & Friday) in person at our brand new studio in Kings Cross with the remaining 2 days available to work from home.
