Job description

Your mission

As the Lead DevOps Engineer reporting to the CTO, your mission is to architect and implement a robust DevOps framework that accelerates our software development lifecycle. You'll analyze existing infrastructure, devise a strategic roadmap, build a high-performing team, and execute DevOps initiatives. 

Your primary focus will be on optimising deployment pipelines, fostering automation, and driving a culture of reliability and scalability. By championing best practices and nurturing talent, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our technological future and driving business success.

Responsibilities
  • DevOps continuous improvement.

  • Lead and manage the DevOps team, providing guidance and support to team members.

  • Proactively plan, create tickets, and manage sprints to ensure speed and quality.

  • Continuously evaluate the efficiency of the teams, identifying areas for improvement and implementing measures to optimise team performance, streamline processes, and enhance productivity.

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient CI/CD pipelines.

  • Oversee configuration management and automation tools to streamline processes.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, procedures, and policies within the DevOps. 

  • Monitoring, performance and security.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Proven experience in a DevOps role, with at least 6 years of experience.

  • Proficient in scripting languages (Python or similar).

  • Expert knowledge of AWS cloud environment and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes or other).

  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or other)

  • Someone who has full-professional fluency in English.

  • Someone who thrives in competitive and fast-paced environments.

  • Someone who can work independently but willing to learn!
