Intermediate Program Analyst
This position requires an active Secret clearance.
A Intermediate Program Analyst typically serves as a key member of a project management team, responsible for analyzing and evaluating program performance, identifying areas for improvement, and providing strategic insights to enhance project outcomes. This role involves synthesizing complex data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to senior management. Intermediate Program Analysts often collaborate closely with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and facilitate effective decision-making. They may also be involved in developing and implementing program policies, procedures, and performance metrics to optimize program effectiveness and efficiency. **

- Estimated Starting Salary Range for Intermediate Program Analyst: Pay commensurate with experience.

Intermediate Program Analyst Responsibilities Include:
- Analyze program performance data to assess progress, identify trends, and evaluate the effectiveness of program initiatives.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation summarizing program performance, key metrics, and recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans and objectives for program improvement, in alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and ensure program initiatives meet stakeholder needs and expectations.
- Identify potential risks and issues impacting program success, develop risk mitigation strategies, and proactively address challenges to minimize disruptions.
- Monitor program budgets, expenses, and financial performance, and provide analysis and recommendations to optimize resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within program operations, and lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure program deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements through rigorous review and evaluation processes.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to program staff and stakeholders on program policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist Project Managers in coordinating and tracking project activities, milestones, and deliverables, and provide analytical support as needed.
- Continuously monitor program performance, conduct evaluations, and implement corrective actions or enhancements to drive ongoing improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to facilitate coordination, communication, and knowledge sharing to support program objectives.Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Intermediate Program Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in program analysis, project management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing program performance data, identifying trends, and providing strategic insights.
- Experience with program evaluation, performance measurement, and reporting.
- Previous experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive program improvements.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results within established timelines and budgets.
- Familiarity with program management methodologies and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically and anticipate future program needs and challenges.
