Job description

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer to join our client for a remote opportunity (must be in MST, CST, or EST time zone). As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in creating and delivering digital technical content, including release notes, user guides, and admin guides. You will collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure that our documentation meets their needs effectively. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers up to $53.12/Hour based on experience!

Responsibilities: - Analyze, plan, develop, and deliver digital technical content, including release notes, user guides, and admin guides. - Engage closely with customers and key stakeholders to deliver content that maximizes their use of our integrated healthcare management platform. - Transform SME information and solution capabilities into clear, effective content for end users and administrators. - Ensure clarity, consistency, and quality across all content deliverables, adhering to modern best practice standards. - Assist with content organization on our customer community website. - Contribute to the regular review and redefinition of best practices for web-based content delivery, focusing on usability, searchability, and engagement.

Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Communication, Professional Writing, English, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in technical writing and web content management for a SaaS business. - Proven record of transitioning organization from on-prem legacy documentation to the Google Cloud. - Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage projects efficiently. - Proficiency in technical content development, web authoring, content management, screen capturing, and video capturing. - Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Document360, SharePoint, Walnut.io, Snagit, or similar technologies. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. - Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities. - Experience in healthcare information technology preferred, but not required.
