ASCO Equipment has career opportunities for Material Handling/Lift Truck Service Technicians in the Corpus Christi, Texas. Field positions currently available. Experience with Doosan lift trucks, warehouse solutions and other forklift brands is preferred.
The Service Technician is responsible for providing high-quality repair service on material handling equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:2-3 year min. of shop/field heavy equipment troubling and repair Technical Certifications or Associate’s Degree Must have strong understanding of mechanical and electrical theories and principlesMust have good written & verbal communication skills needed for daily reportingMust have good computer literacy skills for email, work orders and beyondAbility to work within set time parameters, multi-task, and follow proceduresAbility to work with limited supervision and a certain degree of independent judgementAbility to maintain positive working relationships and professionally manage difficult situationsMust be able to obtain a forklift licenseMust furnish tools suitable for Heavy Equipment repair Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to maneuver around/crawl under equipment in order to conduct repairsAbility to work safely in all weather conditions Must be able to properly lift and handle heavy loads up to 55 lbs Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment visibly and audibly Reasons to Join Team ASCO:
