Incorporated in 1996, the CTRA came into existence when individuals from diverse educational and health backgrounds came together with a shared vision to resolve issues in the therapeutic recreation sector. CTRA is dedicated to enhancing the field of Therapeutic Recreation with a focus on service excellence and strategic planning. The CTRA plays a crucial role in advocating for the profession and advancing the well-being of its members. **

Executive Director**

Key duties include developing and executing strategic plans, fostering stakeholder relations, managing budgets, advocating for the profession, and driving program development. The Executive Director collaborates closely with the Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers to operationalize CTRA's mandates and enhance member engagement.
