We are seeking a Director of Legal to oversee global legal matters related to our business operations. As the Director of Legal you will have expertise in international legal requirements, corporate law, and commercial agreements preferably in the SaaS industry. You will lead a team of legal professionals and work closely with various departments to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement international legal strategies to support the company's SaaS business model and expansion plans. - Provide expert guidance on legal issues, including data privacy, intellectual property, licensing, and regulatory compliance. - Provide legal expertise to the sales function involving the negotiation of software and cloud subscription agreements, professional services agreements, MSA’s, NDA’s and a variety of other documents - Collaborate with the sales team to structure deals and address legal concerns in customer-facing negotiations. - Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations such as GDPR and other industry-specific standards. - Manage corporate governance matters, including entity formation, corporate filings, and board governance. - Oversee litigation and disputes - Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, providing guidance and support in their professional development. - Stay informed about emerging legal trends, industry best practices, and regulatory changes affecting the SaaS landscape.

Qualifications: - Diploma from an accredited law school. - 3+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on software/ SaaS commercial experience. - Strong understanding of corporate legal requirements and governance principles. - Proven track record of drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements in a SaaS or technology-driven environment. - Experience in managing a legal team and fostering a collaborative work environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface with internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners. - Strategic thinker with the ability to balance legal considerations with business objectives. - Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in a SaaS company. - Familiarity with international legal frameworks and cross-border transactions. - Experience in intellectual property protection and enforcement. - Knowledge of relevant industry standards and certifications, such as SOC 2
