Job description

Job Summary: We are on the lookout for a UI/UX Engineer eager to craft intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our digital products. In this part-time role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure the best user experience while reflecting our brand’s identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements and feedback.
  2. Convert user stories and requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  3. Implement responsive web design principles to ensure that our applications render well across multiple devices.
  4. Continually keep yourself updated with the latest changes in UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
  5. Incorporate feedback, iterate upon designs, and ensure that the final user interface is visually stimulating and user-friendly.
  6. Communicate design ideas using user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  7. Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  8. Assess and optimize the performance and responsiveness of applications by conducting user testing and feedback sessions.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree or certification in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, UI/UX, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in crafting UI/UX designs for web and mobile applications.
  3. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  4. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  5. Strong understanding of user-centric design principles and responsive design.
  6. Excellent verbal and visual communication skills.
  7. Detail-oriented and passionate about user interface design.
  8. Ability to work in a team and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  9. Portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design work.
