UX Copywriter with English US

 

Service: UX Copywriting
Language: English US
Location: Remote in CET time zone. Possibility to work from the office in Milan, Italy, if successful candidate’s place of residence allows

STAR7 Group is recruiting English (US) UX Copywriter.
 
The selected copywriter will provide UX writing support to one of our customers who is currently designing an intelligent interconnected platform with a modern user experience for the healthcare sector enabling tasks from booking to tele-optometry through different in-built modules. It is a unified system for scheduling, Practice Management, Electronic Health Records, ordering, billing, and patient recall in a single modern package.

Examples of UX copy may include:
  • Microcopy
  • Content for a chatbot
  • Product or in-product copy
  • Interface copy
  • UI content
  • And similar

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Writing copy with user experience (UX) as its main goal
  • Crafting the very words that guide end users to successfully complete the actions as allowed by the tool
  • Understanding the product design process and elements like brand messaging and tone of voice
  • Working closely with product managers, marketers, UI designers, and strategists to ensure that the end UX copy is effective and provide smooth digital experiences to patients
  • Designing content strategy and producing UX copy which is easy to understand, helpful, precise and which can answer user questions before they're asked
  • Collaborating with the design and development team to effectively integrate text and content into the user interface
  • High grammatical accuracy while maintaining key terminology, spotting inconsistencies, and correcting cultural references
  • Ensuring consistency in writing style and tone across all user touchpoints to boost a consistent user experience
  • Testing and optimizing texts based on feedback and analytical data, in order to improve effectiveness and usability


Requirements
  • English US native speaker
  • Exceptional writing skills
    Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content for the audience
  • Experience in UX writing and/or technical writing
  • Fully understanding the target audience and their needs
  • A learning mindset
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product design, CX (customer experience), testers, etc.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality work on time
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus, but not required
  • Clear communication to collaborate effectively with other team members, including designers, developers, and researchers
