Technical Skills: Cognos 11, Snowflake, MicroStrategy, AWS is mandate

Responsibilities

  • 8+ years in Data and analytics with good understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) and data model to support Business Insights
  • Experience in report performance tuning and optimization techniques (Cognos and MicroStrategy) working with relational database (Snowflake preferred)
  • Quick learning of business domain knowledge and relating them in the data environments (Data warehouse/data mart)
  • Strong technical skills in Cognos and MicroStrategy, as well as a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and complex SQL.
  • Experience in working with agile team and familiarity with all agile ceremonies.
  • Should be able to interact with Business Users to gather the reporting functional requirement and convert the same into technical requirement.
  • Document all processes, design decisions, and coding conventions related to the project.
  • Hands-on development in developing complex reports in MicroStrategy or Cognos
  • Excellent communication skills.
