Ochsner Hospital for Children in New Orleans is searching for a Board Certified, Fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our team of seven Pediatric Anesthesiology faculty for practice at Ochsner’s flagship hospital. The successful applicant will have completed a Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship or have equivalent experience and subspecialty certification. Our pediatric anesthesiology practice includes all subspecialties and spans the spectrum from healthy outpatients to complex neonatal surgery.

Ochsner serves a wide variety of patients across the region with a clinic at the main pediatric ambulatory facility in New Orleans, as well as satellite clinics. Several multidisciplinary clinics are currently offered. Ochsner has a 46 pediatric bed unit, along with a 14 bed PICU, 12 bed CVICU, and 54 Level IV NICU. Ochsner has a very robust liver transplant service and is the only center in Louisiana that offers pediatric liver transplants. Ochsner sponsors the combined Tulane-Ochsner pediatric residency program and we teach medical school students from Tulane as well as the University of Queensland for 12 months per year allowing for ample opportunity for teaching.
Ochsner Hospital for Children operates a dedicated pediatric emergency department, PICU and CVICU with in-house intensivists as well as a dedicated, full-time, pediatric transport team providing ground, rotary and fixed wing transports across the entire Gulf South region.
