About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Sales, we are looking for an energetic, self motivated professional with great communication and problem solving skills. The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail oriented and brings a can-do attitude to a team of hardworking sales professionals.

As the Account Director  you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the C-level within a base of existing enterprise accounts, working towards renewals and identifying upsell opportunities to hit revenue targets. This role will work closely with our Business Development, Customer Success, Product, Tech and Marketing teams to drive adoption and advocacy of our platform while engaging with senior industry stakeholders to develop and retain key client relationships.

The role will provide a primary point of contact for clients, to ensure the client’s ongoing customer satisfaction and the retention of their business. The Account Director should develop solid business relationships, understanding  client’s needs so that they are able to identify the need for new and repeat business

Responsibilities
  • Build a deep understanding of the bus industry, our suite of solutions and key market segments in UK, Ireland and Europe
  • Manage an end-to-end sales cycle including technical, operational and executive stakeholders at large global bus organisations
  • The ability to build deep relationships with C-level as well as operational stakeholders, to influence them through thought leadership, industry best practices and product knowledge.
  • Work closely with Customer Success, Business Development, Product, Tech and Marketing teams to expand our footprint across Europe
  • Establish yourself as a key contact to priority clients and support them in resolving any issues that they have, and optimising their use of CitySwift’s products in order to increase revenue.
  • Take charge of strategic account planning for key clients.
  • Build executive alignment with key stakeholders and decision makers
  • Work closely with champions and stakeholders to develop proposals and business cases for large scale deployments
  • Provide weekly feedback & forecasting on all account activity through CRM and internal channels
  • Support CitySwift’s business by sharing client feedback with Product, Tech and Customer Success teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience in B2B Enterprise SaaS sales and/or impact selling.
  • Experience selling complex solutions to enterprise organisations
  • Strong ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
  • Comfortable with conversations that may become detailed or technical
  • You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. You also have strong presentation skills and a demonstrated ability to sell to the C-suite
  • You have experience travelling regularly as part of your job.
  • Self-starter,  able to work with minimal supervision and be accountable
  • You are highly organised and comfortable managing multiple high priority projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability working towards tight deadlines / quarterly targets

 

It would be great if you could bring 
  • Commercial experience in the Public Transport Sector (Desirable)
  • Background of working in a start-up or hyper growth environment
