The Quality Compliance Manager is responsible for CAPA activities from issue identification to closure; effectively project manage all CAPA activities; ensuring the quality of CAPA record content. 

The Quality Compliance Manager is also responsible for ensuring the company and all necessary employees are in complete compliance with any client specific requirements and tracking any special projects undertaken by company departments adhere to all compliance requirements.

Position responsibilities:

  • Act as a Project Manager to drive CAPAs through closure with internal CAPA owners.

  • Triage and root cause investigation of newly opened CAPA Requests

  • Gathering data from many systems for analysis

  • Independently produces and completes CAPA record

  • Ability to assess risk as it pertains to the CAPA

  • Responsible for performing timely, detailed CAPA engineering tasks, such as assessing issue descriptions, reviewing CAPA data sources, assisting with root cause analysis and quality problem solving

  • Analyze quality monitoring data sources and apply statistical techniques to identify existing and potential causes of non-conformances

  • Perform periodic trend analysis and corrective action effectiveness measures of all quality system events and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for processes, procedures, and compliance activities with corporate offices and personnel

  • Guide support departments through the documentation of their processes and ensure documentation are properly maintained, to include preparation for audits

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with any client needing unique compliance requirements to ensure expectations are clearly defined and information is properly communicated to employees and results tracked

  • Continuously verify all employees are aware of and knowledgeable of internal rules and compliance guidelines

  • Ensure all employees are properly notified to take yearly mandatory requirements

  • Continuously update job knowledge by studying trends and developments in quality assurance and compliance

Your experience includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific-related field or equivalent technical experience and/or relevant work experience

  • At least 3 year of experience in Quality Engineering and CAPA processes

  • Able to understand and analyze complex problems

  • Demonstrated knowledge of tools and techniques required to perform thorough root cause analysis and develop strong investigations.

  • Strong understanding of appropriate global regulations, requirements, and standards; ISO 9001 and Six Sigma

  • Strong Project Management skills, including ability to project manage all CAPA activities.

  • Ability to analyze data and apply statistical techniques

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to collaborate with all levels of the organization

  • Able to take initiative and have a solutions/results mindset

  • Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to deliver presentations in front of clients and key stakeholders 

  • Solid understanding of Word, Excel, and MS Office suite
