Your missions

About the position:

As a (Senior) Team Lead within the International IT Services department of ALDI South, you would lead a team of 15-20 people and provide a comprehensive, global IT service.
Our 7x24 Identity and Access Management team evolved over the past years, embracing change with resilience and agility. Specializing in ADM, Azure ADM, Tier 0 Platform, IAM, and Authorisation Management services we provide global support and maintenance for our infrastructure on 2nd and 3rd level. Our unwavering dedication ensures the security and stability of our company's infrastructure, proving that together, we're not just a team – we're guardians of our digital integrity.

My responsibilities:
  • Perform daily operational tasks based on defined SLAs and KPIs
  • Ensuring quality standards, increasing customer satisfaction
  • Optimal allocation of daily workload
  • Continuous development and motivation of direct reports
  • Participate in the selection of new staff and in the training of new recruits
  • Continuous development of services and service portfolio
  • Analysing complex cases and liaising with external partners
  • Managing escalations
  • Working on a daily basis with the HR department and other partner departments
The knowledge I own:
  • Several years of experience at IT Service Desk
  • At least 2 years Team Leader experience
  • Experience in managing staff in a team environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of professional basics (software, hardware, network)
  • Excellent knowledge English, German would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodology (Foundation and/or Service Operation certification an advantage)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter, proactive and analytical mindset
  • Flexibility in terms of new tasks and change management
  • Commitment to working on a continuous basis
