Job description

This is a remote position.

Proficient in Quick Books or willing to learn outside of business hours.
  • Up date Book keeping and Preparing accounts in Quick Books as per GAAP standards
  • Documentation and management of records for the bookkeeping both in the accounting software
  • Preparing and filing HST returns
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Preparing monthly and other periodical reports
  • Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations and internal policies
  • Processing Vendor Invoices, Vendor registration
  • Processing Customer Invoices etc.
  • Processing salaries and other costs to the company on time
  • and other necessary Accounting activities as they might arise.
  • Hours are Monday to Friday 9pm EST to 5pm EST Saturday 9pm Est to 1pm EST (Toronto, Canada Time)
  • Candidates with proficiency in English, Hindi and Punjabi will be preferred with excellent communication skills.



Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience
  • Experience in Zoho Books
  • Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of spreadsheets, as well as other Office applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
  • Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Up to date Computer with a second monitor
  • High Speed Internet
  • Great Typing skills
