Your missions

Key purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Scrum Master to join our Bank project team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in API development and integration with open-source APIs. The candidate should also have prior corporate or commercial experience in delivering projects within an Agile environment.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and coordinate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure the team follows Agile principles, processes, and practices.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and QA engineers, to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Remove impediments that obstruct the team's progress towards achieving their goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Maintain project plans, backlogs, and sprint goals.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
  • Experience with API development and integration with open-source APIs.
  • Knowledge of back-end integration technologies such as ESBs, SOAP, and messaging systems.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience working in a corporate or commercial environment, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve conflicts within the team.

Key skills:

  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and related technologies.
  • Understanding of database design and performance optimization.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure.
