Java + Golang + AWS Software Engineer

Note: Candidate must be willing to be hired full-time after 6 months of onboarding.

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance software applications using Java and Golang.
• Deploy microservices-based applications using containerization, serverless architecture, and event-driven architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions according to business requirements.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
• Identify and fix bugs and bottlenecks to optimize the performance and reliability of software applications.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes to ensure quality development.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in software development.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience in backend development, with a preference for Java experience.
• At least 1 year of Golang experience and some experience with AWS.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks such as Spring Boot, and 1 year of experience in Golang.
• Experience with microservices-based development using AWS cloud technologies such as DDB, Lambda, and BloomRPC.
• Proficiency in development tools like Intellij, Git, and JIRA.
• Familiarity with search tools/languages like Elasticsearch and Lucene.
• Experience with modern software development practices like Agile and Scrum.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
