About the role

Position- Senior Automation Engineer

Experience -7+ years

Purpose of the job:

We are looking for an innovative and experienced QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in Automation who is ready for an ambitious project .We look at you as someone who is an avid learner and tech enthusiast.

Responsibilities:

Automation Framework Design and Implementation.
Creation of robust Automation Test Plans.
Analysis of functional and non-functional use cases, and identification of automation candidates.
Design, develop and maintain automated scripts, across multiple projects.
Creation of clear, meaningful Test Result Reports.
Coordination of Test and Development team members to prioritise & resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Being highly delivery focused and engaging effectively with all team members to drive projects forwards.
Mentor and guide junior automation engineers as required.
Other tasks as reasonably requested.

Essential Skills:

Experience with automating the entire regression test suite.
Automation experience using Selenium.
Strong knowledge of testing theory and understanding of software verification.
Excellent communicator, capable of engaging at all levels with customers.
Ability to contribute to the Automation Test Strategy, and Tooling Strategy.
Create and maintain coding standards for automation, pushing the framework forward and maintaining it over time.
Development of Automation Tests which can be maintained and extended by the manual test community.
Automation of non-functional tests, including load and security testing.
Test Planning and estimation and establishing a technical understanding of the system under test.
