PCG is looking for an EpicCare Prelude Specialist, who will play a critical role in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of a healthcare organization's patient registration and data collection processes. The specialist will have the following responsibilities:

  • Configuring and customizing EpicCare Prelude workflows to meet the specific needs of the healthcare organization. 
  • Collaborating with other teams, such as clinical staff and IT professionals, to ensure the accurate and timely collection of patient data. 
  • Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of patient data within the EpicCare Prelude system. 
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to patient registration and data collection. 
  • Providing training and support to end-users of the EpicCare Prelude system, including clinical staff and administrative personnel. 
  • Developing and maintaining documentation related to EpicCare Prelude workflows, policies, and procedures. 
  • Staying current with new releases and updates to the EpicCare Prelude system, and evaluating their potential impact on the healthcare organization. 


Requirements

 Qualifications: 

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration, health information management, or computer science, is preferred. 
  • Experience: Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly EpicCare Prelude, is highly desirable. Candidates should have a strong understanding of patient registration and data collection workflows, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to these processes. 
  • Technical skills: Strong technical skills, including proficiency with database management and data analysis tools, are typically required for this role. Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Java, or Python may also be preferred. 
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication skills are essential, as EpicCare Prelude specialists will need to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including clinical staff, IT professionals, and administrative personnel. They should be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a team environment. 
  • Certifications: EpicCare Prelude certification is preferred
