What we do: ARS provides services to more than 60 different sites across the state of Michigan with a combination of on-site and remote teleradiology reading in our central offices and homes. We are the exclusive radiology provider to West Michigan’s largest Level I trauma center and research hospital, Corewell Health. American College of Radiology has designated Corewell a Diagnostic Center for Excellence. What we are looking for: We are seeking a remote Neuroradiologist to cover a mid day shift from 11 am to 7 pm EST. This is ideal for someone living in the Pacific Time zone (8 to 4 PST) or Hawaii (5 to 1 HST). This is a standard schedule position working 39 weeks and 11 weekends with 13 weeks of vacation. This would be a partnership track position (1-2 years) with full compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
· Brain, head and neck, and spine imaging with a full complement of advanced neuroimaging
· Majority of time on interpretation of ED and Inpatient neuroradiology examinations
· 90% neuro CT/MR with a small volume of X-Rays
Why do you want to do telerad for us?
Although we are based in Michigan, we have a well-established teleradiology practice. We had remote physicians prior to COVID and currently have physicians working in 14 states. We utilize Intelerad PACS, PowerScribe 360 and Clario; we have outstanding IT infrastructure and 24/7 help desk support. Our remote radiologists are encouraged to participate in virtual section, committee and board meetings and their input is essential to our practice decisions. You will have outstanding colleagues working virtually by your side as we have dedicated body, cardiac, ER, neuro, pediatric, musculoskeletal, and ultrasound readers on first and second shifts and body, ER, neuro, and pediatric readers on third shift.
Compensation/Benefits: We offer a competitive salary/bonus and opportunities for additional income by picking up shifts on a month to month basis. Our physicians pay nothing for medical/dental/vision coverage and enjoy an $18,000 medical reimbursement account annually. We also contribute the maximum amount allowed to the 401K plan ($66,000 in 2023). We offer 13 weeks of vacation for our standard track positions and we are continually striving to improve the work/life balance for our physicians.
· American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology certified
· Fellowship in Neuroradiology and CAQ in Neuroradiology is required (or CAQ eligibility)
