Salesforce - Commerce Cloud

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer to join our team. As a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer, you will play a vital role in developing and customizing Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly known as Demandware) solutions to meet the unique business requirements of our clients. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, architects, designers, and developers, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality e-commerce solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.

• Develop and customize Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions, including site development, integrations, and extensions.
  
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into detailed technical designs and specifications.
  
• Implement and configure a wide range of features and functionalities within Salesforce Commerce Cloud, such as catalogs, product data, pricing, promotions, checkout processes, and payment gateways.
  
• Utilize JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and other relevant web technologies to develop and optimize custom code, ensuring the delivery of scalable and high-performing e-commerce solutions.
  
• Integrate Salesforce Commerce Cloud with external systems and third-party applications, including ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and marketing automation tools.
  
• Conduct thorough unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and stability of the developed solutions.
  
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding best practices, standards, and security guidelines.
  
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within defined timelines and budgets.
  
• Stay up-to-date with the latest features, enhancements, and industry best practices related to Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members, fostering knowledge sharing and promoting a culture of continuous learning.​
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Extensive experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud development, customization, and implementation.
  
• Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and web technologies.
  
• In-depth understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud architecture, data models, and concepts.
  
• Hands-on experience with SiteGenesis, Controllers, Pipelines, ISML templates, and Demandware Script (DWScript).
  
• Experience integrating Salesforce Commerce Cloud with external systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP, and web services.
