The Role:



The Senior Brand Manager, Global Marketing & Innovation is responsible for helping to identify and develop innovation and growth opportunities for the global the company's Wellness business. A key part of this role will be leading the development and execution of marketing strategy and programs to achieve the business objectives, in both the short and long term. Under the direction of the Associate Director, this position initiates and implements projects across the company's Wellness business and works closely with the cross-functional team to identify and validate opportunities, develop strategies, and drive value for the company's and our pet parents. This role is also responsible for our Global Sustainability Program, leading strategy development, collaborating with regional & cross functional teams, supervising implementation and reporting back to the corporate team.


 
What you will do:
  • Lead global brand and business strategy, equity and innovation
  • Development and execution of strategic growth plans to achieve the brand’s short- and long-term business objectives.
  • Work with all regions to understand their needs and future growth opportunities
  • Global marketing lead for cross functional discussion on risk mitigation and compliance activities
  • Partner with Insights and Data team to understand industry trends and create white space pathways
  • Develop, manage and lead global equity for the company's brand and develop communication guidelines for all regional executions, partner with agencies on same
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and colleagues to develop strategies and brand marketing plans
  • Assist with responsibilities related to M&A

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in pet, strategy, innovation, CPG, pharma, wellness OR at least 5 years of experience in related fields
  • Strong cross functional collaboration and influence ability
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and experience dealing with data
  • Managing ambiguity
  • Proficiency with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets
  • 10% travel
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA/ Marketing Diploma
  • Strategy experience
  • Pet Industry knowledge and experience
  • Global Mobility
  • People Management
