Job description

This is a remote position.

This role is open to applicants from anywhere in the world, but 3-5 hours of overlap in working hours with the New York timezone is required. The company is offering a compensation package of $200,000 to $300,000 per year, with a discretionary bonus.


Our client, a research-focused algorithmic trading firm, is seeking a remote Senior Software Engineer to join their team. With the goal of bringing unique products to the wealth management space, this company invests and trades in digital assets, utilizing cutting-edge technology and quantitative models to deliver premium risk-adjusted returns.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's high-frequency trading operations. Your focus will be on enhancing the firm's research platform, internal tooling, and data architecture to optimize performance and ensure seamless execution of strategies.

To be considered, you must have:

  • 10+ years of IT/software development experience
  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Fluency in C++ and proficiency in Python
  • Knowledge of concurrent programming techniques
  • Expertise in building low-latency software


Additionally, the following skills and experience would be a plus:

  • Experience with crypto CeFi/DeFi exchanges
  • Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g. AWS)
  • Exposure to CMake and Rust
  • Experience with Docker containers
  • Background in scaling high-growth start-ups
