Job description

This is a remote position.

  • Salary: Php 35,000 - 45,000

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile transactions in Xero, identifying and resolving discrepancies daily.
  • Processing transactions and journals for year-end taxation work.
  • Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying
  • Defining bookkeeping policies and procedures
  • Developing systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts
  • Maintaining subsidiary accounts by posting, verifying and allocating transactions
  • Reconciling entries to balance subsidiary accounts
  • Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounting for information on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Work closely with other departments to validate financial transactions.
  • Ensure that financial data is accurately reflected in the system.
  • Assisting in financial activities such as running payroll and generating invoices, supplier payments.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of working experience as a Bookkeeping Specialist catering to Australian clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, Xero reconciliation, payroll processing, and financial forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Xero and other accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Must have an extra monitor to be able to open multiple tabs
  • Attentive and alert for messages via Zoom Chat and Whatsapp. Manage around 600-700 messages a day.
  • Strong communication skills and can be able to respond to inquiries and concerns immediately.
