Job description

This is a remote position.

OpenLoop is looking for a collaborating Physician for our internal group of Nurse Practitioners. If you enjoy collaborating and mentoring Advanced Practice Practitioners, this position is perfect!

Meet OpenLoop

OpenLoop Health was founded with the vision to deliver healing anywhere. We do so by thoughtfully pairing leading clinicians (like you!) with innovative telehealth companies providing patient care in all 50 states. Our team of Clinician Advocates and full-service support staff are dedicated to helping you land the right virtual care positions aligned to your expertise, passions and schedule. Consider OpenLoop your all-access pass to rewarding work, great pay and the flexibility you’ve been looking for.

About the Position

This is an incredible work opportunity in a fast-paced, innovative company that puts the patient first. We hire clinical care professionals who deliver medical care using telemedicine modalities including video, phone, connected devices, and asynchronous messages (chat/email).

The Physician will collaborate mostly asynchronously with their assigned advanced practice clinicians to conduct patient chart audits per applicable regulations, delegate prescriptive authority, etc. They will need to fulfill any federal/state-specific requirements as a collaborator (e.g.: attendance in meetings, etc.). The role requires confidence in clinical decision-making while adhering to our evidence-based clinical guidelines, as well as the ability to properly evaluate, assess, document and appropriately intervene as necessary.

As a contracted provider, hours are incredibly flexible. We are a seven days-a-week operation offering providers the flexibility to set their own recurring schedules within any combination of days and hours. The number of hours dedicated to this role will vary based on active state licenses and the number of Advanced Practice Practitioners assigned at any given time.
