Job description

This is a remote position.

The VP-Marketing / Digital Marketing Director is primarily responsible for the management of digital marketing initiatives of the company while managing an overall digital marketing budget of INR 1-2 million per day. The ideal candidate will have mastery in driving paid Social Media & Google campaigns and exceptional data-driven insight in diversifying the channel mix for optimising the ROI on marketing spends. The person will be responsible for generating qualified user leads who will then get contacted by sales support team to complete the user acquisition. Another key responsibility will be to generate organic growth in leads through customer engagement and community building across various digital platforms.

Responsibilities include:


  • Design, execute and constantly modify the digital marketing campaigns across various channels using digital/performance marketing tools, data analytics, and automation.
  • Build, Collaborate and drive the team and various agencies for achieving the marketing & sales goals
  • Source and implement the most effective keywords, measure keyword performance and optimize campaigns based on them.
  • Understand 21K School products/services inside out. Research competitors and their strategies to find the gaps in the K-12 School industry and accordingly set up marketing and advertising goals for the brand.
  • Manage ad placements, target the relevant interests and topics and use Googles in-market audiences for search ads in India and abroad.
  • Use multi-touch attribution to track touch points across the funnel, which will help maximize Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop hypotheses and perform A/B (or multivariate) testing to recommend optimizations
  • Leverage customer insights to better segment, target and reach potential customers
  • Explore new marketing opportunities such as social media channels, apps, ad formats, etc.
  • Allocate budgets and analyze and recommend modifications to ad spends
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to guide A/B creative tests, incrementality tests, and spend scaling tests on campaigns online and offline to identify what works best
  • Test new channels and trends (such as voice search, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Digital Out of Home, etc.)
  • Optimize marketing budgets to maximize Cost per Acquisition (CPA) and efficiently scale new customers

  • Building Communities of parents across social media platforms in India and abroad

Requirements

Essential Requirements:

 

  • Credible experience of working in high-growth start-ups involving direct to customer marketing and sales (b2c)
  • Experience in strategic marketing & digital marketing
  • Expertise in all aspects of Marketing functional role along with performance marketing, analytics and automation.
  • Hands-on mastery with Google and paid Social Media Platforms
  • Expertise in latest growth hack tools and industry benchmark practices, including SMM, SEO, SEM, CDP, PR, ATL, BTL, Branding, GTM, Positioning and similar aspects.
