Drafter at My VA Support (MYVAS)

This is a remote position.

My VA Support is looking for a virtual drafter (remote work) for the Architecture and design fields with a high English level (B2+) to work 45 hours per week.

Drafter responsibilities include gathering drawings and specifications, calculating material and equipment requirements, and setting up production methods. If you have hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and are familiar with building processes, we’d like to meet you.

• Communicating with customers for requirements
  
• Make revisions to a model based on customer necessities
  
• Specify material used on exterior and interior details.
  
• Ensure information integrity and consistency during the conceptual design, preconstruction, and construction phases of each project.
  
• Create models out of rough sketches
  
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure the standards are correct
  
• Develop standardized designs
  
• Work under the company architect and collaborate with other drafters to perform drafting duties, as needed for multiple design and construction projects.
  

• Fluency in English is a must
  
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
  
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit
  
• Architecture Student or Graduate with the ability to work full time.
  
• Great time management skills, able to work independently
  
• Must be detailed oriented, highly organized with excellent communication skills
  
• Creative, interior design experience and ability is a plus.
  
• Ability to multitask and meet scheduled completion dates and deadlines.
  

Working time:

• Official working hours often are Monday to Friday, between 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Miami, FL schedule. (depending on the client's needs) only 45 hours per week.
  
  

Requirements

MANDATORY AUTOCAD AND BLUEBEAM EXPERIENCE

1. Proven work experience as a Drafter or in similar roles
   
2. Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
   
3. Familiarity with 3D modeling tools.
   
4. Good math skills.
   
5. Ability to meet deadlines
   
6. B.Sc. in Engineering, Architecture, or degree from a technical college
