As a Financial Management Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering course materials that cover financial management principles, practices, and techniques. You will provide instruction to students in areas such as financial analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, risk management, and investment analysis. You will also assess student performance, provide feedback, and evaluate their progress. Additionally, you will participate in curriculum development, student advising, and other academic activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver course materials that cover financial management principles, practices, and techniques
Prepare and deliver lectures, discussions, and other instructional materials to students
Provide guidance and support to students to help them achieve their academic goals
Create and grade assignments, tests, and other assessments to evaluate student performance
Provide feedback to students on their progress and help them improve their academic performance
Participate in academic and professional development activities to stay current in the field of financial management
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and revise curricula, course materials, and instructional methods
Advise students on academic matters, such as course selection, career planning, and academic performance
Participate in departmental and university committees and activities as needed
Requirements
Master's degree or higher in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
Relevant experience in financial management, accounting, or related field
Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, and guide students
Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and instructional software
Ability to work with a diverse student population
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
