Razor is seeking a Senior developer for a large government multi year program. Key Role: Perform highly complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software in support of distinct product hardware or technical service lines of businesses. Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems. Plan and conduct major technical phases of significant projects by coordinating the efforts of technical support staff and the performance of assigned projects. Review the completion and implementation of technical products and evaluate vendor s capabilities. Assist with training less experienced software engineer staff. Basic Qualifications: -8+ years of experience in software development -5+ years of experience with programming in Java, J2EE, and PL/SQL -2 years of experience with programming or configuration in IBM Business Rules Management System: ILOG JRules -Experience with UNIX and Windows -Experience with data modeling and stored procedure development -Knowledge of middle-tier technologies, including BEA Tuxedo, Feith Tomcat, Oracle J2EE Portal, and Oracle Application Server -Knowledge of IBM Rational Team Concert, Rational DOORS Next Generation, Rational Quality Manager, Serena Dimensions, and Microsoft Project Server -Ability to obtain a security clearance (public trust) -BA or BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Additional Qualifications: -Experience with Veteran s Affairs software development life cycle, including Veteran Focused Integration Process (VIP) -Experience in working within an Agile team -Experience with providing advice, analysis, and recommendations on technical subjects, including service oriented architecture, database models, data standards, security, privacy, technology infrastructure, performance measures, and outcome evaluation -Experience with project management, including managing both onsite and remote project development teams -Experience with building and maintaining relationships and collaborating with stakeholders to build consensus -Ability to work with clients in a fast-paced, high energy environment -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -Possession of excellent reading comprehension and analytical skills
