Job description

This is a remote position.

As a Teacher Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified educators to join our institution. You will play a pivotal role in identifying top teaching talent, fostering relationships with potential candidates, and managing the recruitment process from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Talent Sourcing and Acquisition:
  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified teachers.
  • Utilize various channels (online job boards, social media, networking, etc.) to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Build a strong talent pipeline for present and future hiring needs.
Candidate Screening and Evaluation:
  • Review resumes and applications to assess candidates' qualifications and suitability for teaching positions.
  • Conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidates' teaching abilities, experience, and cultural fit within the institution.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Liaise with hiring managers and sales team to understand staffing needs and align recruitment efforts accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing timely updates and feedback.
Interview Coordination and Selection:
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in the selection process, facilitating decision-making by providing comprehensive candidate assessments.
Onboarding Support:
  • Collaborate with HR and administrative teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • Provide support and guidance to new teachers during their initial integration into the institution.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2+ years proven experience in recruiting, preferably in the education sector.
  • Familiarity with various recruitment techniques and platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to assess teaching skills and evaluate candidates effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
