The client is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining BI solutions that will help our company make better business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain BI solutions, including data models, reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Collect and analyze business requirements to understand the reporting and analytical needs of the organization.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and data scientists to ensure data accuracy, consistency and completeness.
- Develop and implement ETL processes to integrate data from various sources.
- Optimize data models and queries to ensure efficient and accurate data retrieval.
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of BI solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to BI and data warehousing.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing BI solutions, including data modeling, ETL, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and database design.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or Java is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience in Agile development methodology is a plus.
