This opportunity will support the Oxford Risk Management Group, a Risk Strategies Company, They are a national leader in delivering comprehensive enterprise risk solutions to the most successful businesses, financial institutions, professional athletes and entertainment personalities in the country. RequirementsThe duties of the Claims Specialist include, but are not limited to; - Review circumstances surrounding claims along with appropriate coverage and verbally communicate preliminary coverage opinion to the company - Work collaboratively with various third-party administrators in the investigation of claims - Keep claim files properly updated and attach documents in accordance with protocols created and set within the department - Handle to conclusion insurance claims presented. Duties include advocating for the client, maintaining an active diary, transmittal of documentation and follow-up correspondence to the TPA (as relevant) and company - Review lawsuits submitted by claimants - Provide reserve recommendations and analyses to the Captive Manager - Handle Account Management related inquiries and provide loss information when necessary - Stay up-to-date on relevant local, state and federal law changes in the insurance field
Requirements and Qualifications: - 5+ yrs. Commercial Lines claims experience; claims processing in the captive space beneficial preferred - Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional interpersonal communication skills - Possess excellent client advocacy and negotiation skills - Experience with Salesforce and Origami Risk software is preferred
