Job Title: Lead Forecasting Analyst **

Location: Remote

What you’ll do: The Lead Forecasting Analyst works within the Digital Solutions and Technical Support department to complete forecasting, capacity planning, and data-driven projects. This team utilizes multiple contact channels, including phone, email, and chat and Salesforce as the CRM. This is a unique business with distinct seasonal volume patterns that add complexity. In addition to a contact center/help desk environment with multiple business groups, this role will also forecast capacity requirements for technical consultants meeting customers virtually during the sales process, onboarding, and with ongoing support. Top candidates will have a strong background in a similar environment with fluctuating market demands.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Create, track, and refine forecasting models and backlog levels
  • Track and utilize model inputs including contacts rates by channel, reasons for contact, historical patterns (arrival patterns, off-line time, vacation and other time away from work, etc.), workload volumes, backlog levels, sales and sales opportunities and inter-departmental initiatives
  • Lead conversations with business leaders representing the business groups utilizing these models
  • Proactively identify potential issues and work with business leaders to create plans to address them
  • Interface with BPO partners regarding staffing requirements and performance
  • Recommend strategies to reduce costs while maintaining appropriate staffing levels
  • Participate on projects requiring high levels of data tracking and analysis

What You’ll Need

  • A high level of aptitude working with mathematics and data models
  • Deep analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret and merge data from multiple sources and formats so that it can be synthesized to guide decision-making
  • Proven experience successfully managing multiple competing priorities in a complex and rapidly changing landscape
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to manage complex data heavy communications within the overall organization, including with senior levels of management
  • Must be a strong team player able to work across the organization to move initiatives forward
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Experience in a remote environment
  • Attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, including analytics is highly preferred
  • Experience utilizing reporting tools such as PowerBI or Tableau to create and analyze data is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with software in the EdTech industry, including Learning Management Systems and Student Information Systems

Benefits And Salary Range

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 **
