Program Manager

Remote, South Carolina

What You’ll Do**

The Program Manager is responsible for implementing and managing the assigned program effectively, including ensuring deliverables of associated funding programs are met, coordination with grant oversite , managing staff, subcontracts, operation of the program lines, building business strategies, and establishment of business lines accordingly. The position will engage continuous quality improvement throughout the program, seek additional funding and business opportunities, and maintain the Value-Based Program initiative ensuring maximum value to our customers, stakeholders, and community while enhancing the company’s visibility and value. **

We expect you to:**

  • Oversee and coordinate all contract/business activities.
  • Develop, train and cross-train assigned staff; monitor productivity, schedules, volume, accuracy and timeliness of deliverables; and address performance issues.
  • Lead and mentor new employees and existing staff within the program to enhance development and personal growth goals of interest including identifying opportunities for team development training and educational opportunities.
  • Act as primary contact and resource for contractual questions/discussions.
  • Analyze program systems and processes to identify opportunities for efficiencies and develop solutions.
  • Develop and manage budgets in coordination with Business Development and QI Program Director.
  • Develop and negotiate subcontracts and work orders in coordination with Business Development and QI Program Director.
  • Continue to identify and design marketing strategies, business strategies, and additional needs across Constellation Health in collaboration with leadership to continue to build new business ensuring growth of the organization.
  • Lead, participate, and provide subject matter expertise for service line proposals and grant procurement.

This position requires occasional travel, primarily within South Carolina, for conferences, meetings and relationship building.

Who You Are

The successful candidate will have superior written and verbal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, other agencies, and the community. The Program Manager is required to incorporate guiding principles of quality improvement and project management with the scope of work assigned. This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously , work well in team situations, meet deadlines, and work independently. **

Our requirement for this role:**

  • Master’s degree in public health, Health Policy, or Healthcare preferred; Doctorate degree a plus. Six (6) or more years of related experience may substitute for degree.
  • Previous supervisor experience required.
  • Previous experience working with CMS and CDC collaborative agreements, grants, and statements of work preferred.
  • CPHQ certification required.
  • Considerable knowledge of public health and the social and economic factors influencing individual and community health.
  • Considerable knowledge and understanding of the healthcare delivery system and community-based organizations (CBOs) impacts to healthcare
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to develop and deliver reports and presentations internally, publicly, and as needed to oversite and federal leaders.
  • High level of computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.) This position will require significant computer use.
