Job description

Overview:

For over 14 years, 85SIXTY has been helping clients transform the way they reach, acquire and engage with their customers through an integrated combination of data, technology, cross-channel strategies, and creative thinking. Some might call us a full-service digital consultancy, but we like to think of ourselves as a partner that can both drive strategy and orchestrate delivery. Founded in 2010 by a veteran in retail, eCommerce, and digital, 85SIXTY was built around a consultative, high-touch approach that allows us to work across a broad spectrum of areas to increase our value to our customers. We are supporting today’s forward-thinking brands in their journey towards growth, whether that be financially, operationally and/or strategically. Solving whatever is thrown our way and translating it into simple solutions is at the core of 85SIXTY. We are looking for team members who fit that ethos.

As a Senior Project Manager at 85SIXTY, you will be at the forefront of pioneering marketing technology solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the deployment and continual optimization of cutting-edge marketing technology platforms, including but not limited to analytics platforms, tag management systems, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), and Software Development Kits (SDKs). This role demands a dynamic blend of technical acumen and project management prowess, ensuring that you not only lead but also strategize the planning and execution phases of these projects. Collaborating closely with clients, internal teams, and external vendors, you will guarantee the seamless delivery of these technical projects, adhering to strict timelines and budgetary constraints. Your expertise will drive the innovative use of technology in digital marketing, setting new benchmarks for success within the industry. **

  • Progress Monitoring and Communication: Vigilantly track project milestones and progress, providing consistent and clear updates to stakeholders. This includes synthesizing complex project information into digestible and actionable insights.
  • Budget Oversight and Financial Reporting: Closely monitor project budgets, ensuring fiscal discipline. Promptly identify and report any budgetary deviations, offering solutions to mitigate financial risks.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Proactively identify potential project risks, conduct thorough evaluations, and develop robust strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring project stability.
  • Issue Management with Tools: Efficiently manage project issues and tasks using JIRA and Basecamp, ensuring a seamless workflow and timely resolution of any challenges.
  • Weekly Reporting and Issue Triage: Conduct in-depth weekly reports and triage meetings to address and prioritize urgent issues, maintaining project momentum and stakeholder confidence.
  • Client and PMO Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and the internal Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring smooth communication and alignment of expectations.
  • Budget Management and Time Tracking: Take charge of the project's financial health by managing the budget and closely monitoring the pacing of billable hours, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Support with MarTech Tasks: Provide hands-on assistance with basic Marketing Technology (MarTech) tasks as needed, demonstrating versatility and a commitment to project success.
  • Expertise in Key Digital Areas: Possess a strong understanding of Analytics, Customer Experience (CX), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and E-commerce, applying this knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
  • Proactive Process Improvement: Continually seek and suggest innovative improvements to existing processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
