Job Description**

The ideal candidate would be located near one of the offices of Myriad (Salt Lake City, Mason, or San Francisco) or willing to travel occasionally. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst role is an internal stakeholder focused role.

The Myriad Technology organization is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst passionate about data and its application to its top-level strategies, helping to lead our executive management team to identify critical indicators of success and acting as a guide to other analysts on the team to demonstrate the best-in-class analytical capabilities. You will report to the Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. The position is considered a senior-level analyst role. The ideal candidate for the position will act as a collaboration lead across senior leadership, subject matter experts, and technical teams to facilitate and deliver critical insights influencing organizational outcomes and strategy.

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will develop and leverage an extensive background in data analysis and business processes to push leadership to make data-driven decisions and upskill other analysts on the team and citizen analyst individuals. This role will set the standard for what good is for the organization and inform process improvements to elevate Myriad’s initiative outcomes.

Key Functions **

Enterprise Key Performance Indicators**

• The primary responsibility of the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be to coordinate efforts surrounding our Enterprise KPIs. The position will facilitate conversations between our executive leadership team and subject matter experts within the various functions to deliver top-level organizational outcomes while identifying what is needed to empower leaders with the information to explain macro trends.

Dashboards and Reporting

• The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst role is responsible for developing and delivering dashboards and reporting using our Enterprise Data Visualization Platform (Snowflake and Looker), focusing analysis on action-based insights and success indications. Beyond the delivery of executive reporting, you will coordinate efforts with citizen analysts to provide visibility to metrics that ladder to top-line outcomes, which is a primary responsibility.

Analyst Training and Development

• Being the senior analyst on the team, you will be a crucial contributor to the development of individuals in the Analytics Center of Excellence and citizen analysts dispersed across the organization. Acting as a mentor and guide on the team will be a core capability expected of the position.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Technical Prowess

• To deliver and facilitate accurate and complete reporting, you will work with various leaders, subject matter experts, and technical resources to provide complete and accurate analytics. When data accuracy or process improvement is identified, you will be responsible for influencing leadership to prioritize the implementation of fixes and coordinating with technical teams to understand the strategic objectives of process and data fixes.

Interactions

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will play a cross-functional role with the executive leadership team, functional leads, and technical resources to deliver relevant and informed insights. While only expected to know key high-level processes across the organization, having a comprehensive understanding of available metrics and subject matter experts in business process and enterprise platforms is expected. The solid alignment for strategy and a broad knowledge base will be leveraged by leadership to drive consistency and an informed, data-driven culture at the highest levels of the company. **

Qualifications**

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a business or quantitative subject (e.g., computer science, mathematics, engineering, science, economics, or finance)
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in analytics/data science/insights/strategy
• 3+ years of experience with business intelligence and analytics tools (SQL, Snowflake, Looker, Qlik, Tableau, or PowerBI)
• Excellent communicator with superior written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
• Good stakeholder management experience. Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and C-suite
• Consulting experience is a plus.
