RER Solutions, Inc., is accepting resumes for a Senior Systems Program Support Specialist to support the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED)’s mission to deliver clean energy demonstration projects at scale in partnership with the private sector to accelerate deployment, market adoption, and the equitable transition to a decarbonized energy system to join our superior workforce. The Senior Systems Program Support Specialist is a database designer who will research and recommend new databases or other systems.  


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with the users to identify and document the technical requirements of an organization during the design phase and then create models for building the database
  • Code Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) databases, integrate or consolidate existing databases or infrastructure, and check for errors or inefficiencies
  • Identify and document user needs to create and administer databases
  • Prepare Requirements documents
  • Research and recommend a new database structure
  • Ensure that organizational data are secure
  • Ensure that databases operate efficiently and without error
  • Make and test modifications to database structure when needed
  • Maintain databases and update the permissions
Requirements
  • Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client-issued Public Trust
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Experience in Clean Energy desired  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, and an understanding of fundamental business writing
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)


EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree
