Job Title: Government Contract Quality Control Specialist

Job Summary:

The Government Contract Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all government contracts are fulfilled to the highest quality standards. The specialist will work closely with the contracting team to review and analyze contracts, specifications, and requirements to develop and implement quality control plans. They will conduct quality inspections, audits, and reviews of deliverables to ensure compliance with contract requirements and specifications. The specialist will be responsible for documenting all quality control procedures and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in place for each contract. They will also be responsible for conducting internal training on quality control processes and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze Department of Defense contracts, specifications, and requirements to develop and implement quality control plans.
  • Conduct quality inspections, audits, and reviews of deliverables to ensure compliance with Department of Defense procurement requirements and specifications.
  • Document all quality control procedures and ensure that all necessary documentation is in place for each Department of Defense contract.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions and improvement plans as necessary for Department of Defense contracts.
  • Conduct internal training on quality control processes and procedures as they apply to Department of Defense procurement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and program management, to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained in Department of Defense contracts.
  • Maintain knowledge of Department of Defense procurement regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance in all aspects of quality control.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the quality of deliverables in Department of Defense contracts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders in Department of Defense procurement to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Provide regular reports on quality control metrics and issues to management as they relate to Department of Defense contracts.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, or Business Administration
  • At least 3 years of experience in quality control. (Specific experience in Department of Defense procurement preferred but not required)

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software

Physical Requirements:

This job may require some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds. It may also require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and/or walking.

Salary:

The salary for this position will depend on qualifications and experience.
