The Position

WOLO Travel are currently recruiting for highly motivated sales representatives to establish our presence in Cape Town. If you're passionate about selling adventure to a wide variety of travelers waiting to "Experience Everything" - this is the career for you!


As WOLO Travel's new Experience Expert , you will be working with driven team players and will be responsible for assisting online, email, phone and (when we open our first Cape Town store) walk-in customers who are looking to book holiday packages, flights, tours and more.


What you're accountable for:

  • To achieve monthly sales and revenue targets as agreed with your Team Leader.
  • To sell the complete range of WOLO Travel products
  • To contribute new and innovative ideas to continuously improve sales, best practice and internal procedures
  • To be adaptable to the needs of the business in terms of sales focus and directionally sell into campaigns and sales incentives
  • To adopt and follow sales best practice procedures
  • To maximise revenue by meeting or exceeding customer needs and expectations
  • To build a rapport with customers and maintain their confidence throughout the sales conversation
  • Use personal travel experience and product training to provide excellent advice to customers.
  • Take full responsibility for the administration and ongoing support of your bookings and keep customer informed of progress
  • Support your colleagues' customers to ensure they receive an excellent level of customer service in their absence
  • To respond to customer enquiries in an efficient and timely manner that meet the customer needs.
  • Handle any customer complaints in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Proactively seek to enhance your own personal development with assistance from your Team Leader.
  • To take part in training sessions, briefings and educationals, in order to gain a clear understanding of WOLO Travel products and booking procedures

Requirements

Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum 1 - 2 years experience as a Travel Consultant booking international destinations
  • Prior experience with a GDS (Amadeus, Sabre etc)
  • Matric Certificate
  • Computer Competency
  • Travel & Tourism qualifications looked upon favourably
  • Personal international travel experience outside the African continent is an essential requirement for this position.
  • Personal travel experience to either Bali or Thailand will be looked upon favourably.
  • Must provide own transport or be able to travel to Cape Town CBD
