Java Developer

ALTEN Delivery Center Eastern Europe (ADC Eastern Europe) is part of ALTEN Group’s offshore delivery centers network, together with centers from other regions such as Morocco, India, Mexico, and Spain.

At the moment, ADC Eastern Europe has 400 employees, three sites (Iasi, Bucharest and Gliwice) and offers engineering and IT consulting services for international clients from the automotive, aero, energetic, finance or life sciences sectors. Our team focuses on cultivating a feeling of belonging to a technical environment based on creativity and constant innovation.

Inside this client’s project you will be in charge of develop and improve several homemade applications around staffing, career, skill management and expenses. Following a solution manager guideline, in an Agile Scrum team, the developer will:

•  Develop new features
•  Develop and improve the current solution Analyze & Prioritize tickets raised by end-users
•  Take part of the resolution following the SLA Identify bugs & changes requests which requires strong developments
•  Participate to scrum ceremonies (Daily, retrospective, review and planning).

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
•  5+ years' Java development experience;
•  Know JEE librairies commonly used (apache, guava, springboot ...)
•  Be familiar with Spring annotations such as Component, ComponentScan, Configuration, Qualifier etc.
•  Be familiar with JPA (Object Relational Mapping, Entity Manager, Type of Mapping, JPQL).
•  Have develop one or more services using Kafka.
•  Web APIs, microservices;
•  Experience in working with relational databases (OracleDB);
•  A fundamental desire to produce code of the highest standard;
•  Open-minded
•  Willingness to learn
