The team you’ll work with

We use machine learning and data analytics to analyze large volumes of data, uncover patterns, and make predictions that can be invaluable in the energy sector. Our team managesdeep and valuable data around energy supply and demand that can lead to more efficient and sustainable energy systems. We are a small growing team with the opportunity to build high velocity machine learning from scratch.

The Impact

We have direct impact to help optimize energy distribution, predict demand fluctuations, and identify energy-saving opportunities. We build analytical tools that can process vast amounts of data collected from various sources within the energy grid. We work with cross functional teams around new product development including international expandsion.

The problems you’ll solve 
  • Implement data validation and cleaning processes to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies in the incoming data.
  • Build advanced time series forecasting models at scale.
  • Create relevant features that can improve forecasting accuracy, such as lag features, rolling statistics, and domain-specific variables.
  • Continuously monitor the training process and evaluate model performance on the validation set.
  • Deploying well-performing models into a production environment.
  • Analyzing historical data and real-time information to determine changes in energy consumption.
You may be a fit for this role if

You are a senior scientist with a PHD.You have expertise with building machine learning algorithms. You have extensive experience with data collection and data processing. Experience with techniques like data cleaning, normalization, and feature engineering to prepare the data for modeling. Experience with time series analysis and predictive modeling. Experience with Python and other modeling tools.
